What is Facial Aesthetics? 

A safe, non-surgical treatment modality for men and women to help reduce signs of aging on the face. Wrinkle softening treatments and or injectable fillers are used to soften expression lines, define facial contours, and restore youthful volume to your skin.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

Anti-wrinkle treatments work by relaxing specific muscles that pull excessively under the skin to treat facial wrinkles and improve facial symmetry. At your initial consultation we will assess and discuss areas of concern to you, answer any of your questions and take you through the consent process by informing you about the benefits, possible risks or side effects and costs associated with your treatment of choice to develop an effective, tailored treatment plan for you. Optimal results are typically achieved in one treatment session, with as little as 0 – 20 minutes recovery time. Post treatment advice will be provided, and a review appointment can be organized two weeks post treatment if necessary. Treatment results start becoming apparent 3 – 5 days post treatment and by day 14 results are completely effective and could be expected to last for 3 – 4 months. They can be used to treat the following areas to help minimize appearance of wrinkles caused by facial expressions:

 Dermal Filler Treatments 

There are many different types of dermal fillers, here at Caterham Dental Centre we only use Hyaluronic Acid 

 (HA) fillers which are the most bespoke within the aesthetic industry. Since HA is a naturally occurring substance in our skin that unfortunately reduces in our bodies with the aging process, using HA dermal fillers help to hydrate and plump the skin and stimulate the collagen growth giving you a natural, rejuvenated look!

Dermal filler is a soft gel that is injected into different layers of the skin for enhancing features or adding fullness and structure to areas that have lost volume due to reduced levels in collagen and elasticity. Fillers are used to treat wrinkles and creases by lifting and volumising the skin, leaving it looking smooth, contoured, and youthful. As part of your consultation, we will assess and discuss areas of concern to you, plan the areas that would benefit from treatment, discuss type and dose of filler being recommended to achieve optimal and natual results. We will answer any of your questions and take you through the consent process by informing you about the benefits, risks or side effects and costs associated with your treatment of choice to develop an effective, tailored treatment plan for you.

Optimal results are typically achieved in one or two treatment sessions. Treatment results become apparent instantly or after a few hours post treatment. As the product settles into tissues with time, a smoother augmented result hit its peak around 4 weeks post treatment. Recovery time varies depending on the area being treated and product used, most people resume to work on the same day but as with any injectables swelling, redness or bruising could take up to 2 weeks to fully resolve. Post treatment advice will be provided, and a review appointment can be organized if necessary. The longevity of results will often depend on the area being treated, product used and individual patient’s body metabolism of the product. On average, most patients will only need to repeat treatment once every 4 – 18 months.

Dr Paris Einollahzadeh obtained her Bachelor in Dental Surgery from Barts and The London Queen Mary University of London in 2008 and graduated with BDS (Honours) for her outstanding achievements and clinical excellence.  She went on to complete her vocational training at Kent, Surrey and Sussex Dental Deanery and became affiliated to Royal College of Surgeons of England’s Joint Dental Faculties by obtaining her MJDF qualifications in 2013. Dr Paris has worked as a general dental practitioner for many years and her passion for dental and facial aesthetics was marked in 2011 when she completed her first cosmetic course. She has been an Invisalign certified practitioner since 2016 and in 2019 Paris embarked on a journey to obtain her Level 7 Ofqual Diploma in injectables for Aesthetic Medicine. Her joint experience in both fields means that she can focus treatments on enhancing the entirety of the face and the smile!
